                Child Developmental Milestone Checklist
                Developmental Milestones & Growth Tracker

Every child grows, learns, and develops at their own pace. This Developmental Milestone Checklist and Parent Tracking Tool is designed to help families celebrate progress, identify emerging skills, and stay informed about their child's development from birth through age 5.

The checklist highlights common developmental milestones in four key areas:
                • Social & Emotional Development – How children interact with others and express emotions.
                • Language & Communication – How children understand, communicate, and use language.
                • Cognitive Development – How children learn, think, solve problems, and explore the world around them.
                • Physical Development – How children move, balance, coordinate, and develop motor skills.

                How to Use This Resource

Review milestones that correspond to your child's age range.
Check off skills your child has mastered.
Use the tracker to record achievements, favorite activities, and new skills.
Share your observations with your child's teacher, pediatrician, or other care providers.
                Celebrate every milestone—big or small!

                Remember:

Children reach milestones at different times, and developmental ranges can vary. This checklist is intended as a helpful guide and conversation starter, not a diagnostic tool.
If you have questions or concerns about your child's development, speak with your pediatrician or contact an early intervention specialist. Early support can make a meaningful difference when developmental delays are identified.
